Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters, and exclusion from healthcare. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation.

 

Friends of MSF at UGA Inc. is an independent nonprofit corporation in addition to being a student chapter of the international Doctors Without Borders organization. Founded by Simran Kaur Malhotra in 2020, Friends of MSF UGA seeks to unite and immerse students in a culture of service, learning, and personal development. As an organization, Friends of MSF UGA works to educate members on ongoing issues in healthcare, provide service opportunities in the Athens community, and fundraise for MSF health professionals around the world.
